Assistswith the development and maintenance of a detailed Department Operations Manualthat reflects Policies Procedures, work processes and standards ofperformance within the Division. Ensures annual review to accurately reflectany changes.

Assistswith the preparation of the annual Human Resources Business Plan, ensuringDivisional Objectives fully address business objectives of the Hotel and needsof employees.

Assistswith the preparation and regular update of the Training Budget in closecooperation with the Director of Human Resources, ensuring targets are met andcosts are effectively controlled.

Managesand regularly reviews the compilation and accuracy of the DepartmentalOperations Manuals, Employee Task Lists and Task Breakdowns.

Assistsin the preparation of the annual Hotel’s Training Plan, ensuring the objectivesfully address the business objectives of the Hotel and the training needs ofthe employees.

Accuratelymaintains training records of all employees.

Responsiblefor the security and maintenance of the Hotel’s Training Room, trainingequipment and materials.

Maintainsthe Human Resources Training Library.

Departmental Training and Service Standards

Ensuresthat the recommended quota of Departmental Trainers for each department aretrained and that they are conducting an average of 3 to 5 skills trainingsessions per month.

Ensuresthe maximum utilisation of Departmental Trainers in each department and closelymonitors and rewards their performance and activities.

Trains,mentors and appraises Departmental trainers in accordance with HI standards.

Assistswith the monitoring of skills training and departmental standards as defined inthe Departmental Operations Manual.

Conductsmonthly Departmental Trainer forums and activities
