**Job Description**
• Development and delivery of the annual training programme to ensure that the site is compliant and all employees have the basic training required (including HSE) to carry out their role to a satisfactory level of competence and meeting Safran CSR targets and commitments including training hours per employee. Deliver required reporting on progress against plan.
• Lead the planning and provision of high quality and inspirational management and leadership development initiatives, including coaching and mentoring, that will enhance current and potential capability.
• Support Managers and HRBP's to develop robust succession plans and associated actions to ensure that strategies are implemented to offer effective development for employees and ensure long term business continuity.
• Lead the management and delivery, working closely with HRBP's and Recruitment & Talent Manager, of all early career development programmes (including Apprentices, Graduates, and Interns) supporting the business to undertake workforce planning to inform requirements.
• Ensure the provision of effective learning and development administration processes to enable robust management information to be produced.
• Ensure maximum use of Apprenticeship levy funding across learning and development intervention programmes across the business.
• Keep up to date with developments in talent development including building an appropriate network of contacts across Safran and externally undertaking professional development as required.
• Manage the site's training budget with the support of the Head of HR
• Commission and manage additional internal or external resources as and when required to ensure cost-effective delivery of agreed L&D initiatives including coaching and team development initiatives
• Actively contribute to the site talent management process by linking L&D requirements from the TMR process to recruitment and training activity.
• Oversee the development and continuous improvement of the site's onboarding programmes to ensure adherence with best practice, legal requirements and company compliance obligations.
• Ensure learning programs deliver future skills requirements of the business, aligning to output of the GPEC process and divisional and site critical skills plans.
• Monitor, evaluate and develop training at site level, ensuring that the learning & development offering is suitable as a return on investment.
• Engage with Safran University as a key provider of professional training for employees. Work with Safran UK Ltd to support the on-going evolution of Safran University in the UK.
• Site lead in the implementation of group-wide initiatives and tools ensuring they are adequately embedded within the business and HRBP teams as directed (e.g. LMS, evolution of Safran University in the UK, executive development programs, digitalisation training…)
**Job Requirements**
• Degree Educated or equivalent, with professional qualifications to support depth of HR/L&D/OD experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English – supported by a natural relationship-building style and positive collaborative approach.
• Ability to effectively facilitate range of group based activities including workshops and focus groups
• Experience of delivering innovative learning and development activities with an engaging and inspirational style.
• Significant Talent Development/ Learning and Development experience with proven experience of managing relationships with senior manager and leaders.
• Experience of designing, delivering and managing early career development programmes
• Evidence of the management of a variety of people development projects, influencing and building credibility at all levels to achieve agreed outcomes and timelines
• Ability to relate positively and sustainably with employees at all managerial/leadership levels, with ease and confidence.
• A strong level of commercial awareness and business acumen.
• Ability to manage a complex personal workload, able to juggle priorities and ensure necessary deadlines are consistently achieved.
• Ability to bring innovative and creative solutions to business challenges, confidently devising and presenting business cases for consideration by key stakeholders.
• Abilities to build external networks and relationships, for added value to the organisation.
• Team-player, comfortable to work in a matrix organisation, using networking and influencing skills to positively achieve business results.
• Demonstrate alignment with the current approach on leadership behaviour within Safran, and with a clear personal interest in continued professional development.
• Experience of utilising LMS systems to streamline training management processes and reporting•

• Act as internal consultant on training and development projects and new training initiatives to ensure they reflect key requirements and behavioural needs of the specific business areas.
• Review approved ad-hoc training requests and consider most appropriate learning intervention and supplier.
• Contribute to the wider thinking on the employee engagement and people strategy.
• Evaluator for Safran HS&E Training Standard (supporting standard sponsor who is the Head of HR).
