Summary:
The Lean Six Sigma Manager will be responsible for leading the execution of Lean Six Sigma projects across all business units within the organization. This role will also oversee the development and implementation of new methodologies and tools to support continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, this individual will provide guidance on process design/improvement opportunities as well as mentorship to junior members of the team.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the deployment of Lean Six Sigma programs across multiple sites globally
• Develop and implement new methodologies and tools to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide guidance on process design/improvement opportunities as well as mentorship to junior members of the team
• Support project teams in their efforts to identify waste reduction opportunities through lean manufacturing techniques such as value stream mapping, root cause analysis (RCA), Kaizen events, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of Lean Six Sigma projects
• Conduct regular reviews of progress against project goals
• Identify areas for further optimization based on lessons learned from previous deployments
• Work closely with senior leadership to drive culture change related to continuous improvement practices
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum five years of experience working in operations or supply chain management
• Experience managing large scale organizational transformation initiatives
• Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and practices
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
