Job Summary:

In the “Lean & Quality” Department, the Lean 6 Sigma Black belt leads, manages and supports projects related to process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma and project management methodologies to achieve business goals. Lead project teams to deliver complex business, integration, implementation projects, and continuous improvement/lean efforts.

Responsibilities:

Apply program and project management principles to manage scope, timeline, resources and risk throughout the lifecycle of strategic initiatives.Independently lead process improvement projects across the (3) Campus facilities, coordinating cross-functional teams.Employing Six Sigma methodology & Lean initiatives to identify improvement opportunities, implement and control process improvements to meet business goals and objectives.Identify improvement opportunities in the areas of Operational efficiency, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and others including supporting systems and tools.Identify, lead, manages and control OIA Projects to drive cost savings throughout the Campus.Develop detailed business cases, communicate and present monthly to senior leadership and stakeholders on the opportunities, recommendations and implementation plan.In addition to technical skills, the 6 Sigma Black Belt needs to demonstrate strong team leadership competencies. 

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related to the fieldExpert Six Sigma Black Belt or Project ManagementKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices.Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office 365.English AdvancedPossess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Skills:

Six Sigma Methodology:

Knowledge of the concepts of six sigma DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) methodologyAbility to use the methodology to improve the manufacturing processesControl the improvements by eliminating root causes.

Analytical Thinking:

Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysisAbility to determine the root cause of organizational problemsCreate alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Project Management:

Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tacticsAbility to plan, organize, monitor, control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

Influencing:

Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategiesAbility to impact decisions and engage cross functional team in the projects.

Top Candidates also have:

Certification in 6 Sigma Black BeltDemonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills.Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills.Advanced knowledge in the Digital Tools MS OFFICE 365 (Power Apps, Automate, Power BI, Data Analytics)Good business understanding.

Additional Information:
