Caterpillar Indonesia Batam is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Lean Manager to lead and support strategic improvement initiatives that drive operational excellence across our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing cross-functional projects and supervising teams focused on process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and project management methodologies. You will play a critical role in shaping how we work—coaching teams, embedding a culture of continuous improvement, and delivering measurable results in efficiency, quality, and cost.

Work Location: Batam, Kepulauan Riau
This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
Travel Requirement: No
You will work in an office environment.

**What** **You Will Do** **:**
+ Monitoring performance and improvements in key metrics. Promoting the use of metrics and data to drive project focus.
+ Directing, motivating and developing staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional growth and ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
+ Tracking financial results and reports on quantifiable goals and objectives; estimating future projects from financial, throughput, lead-time and on-time performance improvements to assist in the prioritization of projects.
+ Training and mentoring employees; educating personnel on Lean and Six Sigma methodology and identifying the best projects for implementation.
**What Skills You Have:**
+ **Coaching Others** : Knowledge of coaching and mentoring concepts and methods; ability to encourage, motivate, and guide individuals in learning and improving effectiveness.
+ **Interpersonal Relationships** : Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
+ **Project Management** : Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
+ **Problem Solving** : Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
+ **Analytical Thinking:** Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
+ **Six Sigma Methodology** : Knowledge of the concepts of six sigma DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control )methodology; ability to use the methodology to improve the manufacturing processes and control the improvements by eliminating root causes.
**What Will Set You Apart:**
+ **Educational Background** :A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for candidates from an Engineering background.
+ **Experience** : A minimum of 7 to 9 years of experience in lean manufacturing or project management.
+ **Language** **Proficiency** : Proficiency in English is mandatory.
+ **Certification** : Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent) or similar process improvement certification (e.g., Lean, Kaizen, TQM).
+ Ability to lead or participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
**Physical Requirements** **(With or Without Reasonable Accommodation):**
+ This job requires extensive active movement throughout the plant including climbing stairs and steps, lifting devices, and pushing and pulling equipment.
