Use value stream mapping for the manufacturing process inside the facility.
Identify, evaluate, and recommend improvements to operational processes, procedures and equipment and supporting analysis.
Help lead the T.E.A.M. systems 5S implementation and assist in training employees on the 5S principals.
Continually improve the manufacturing process efficiencies to reduce production costs.
Facilitate Continuous Improvement events to eliminate waste and add value for the customer.
Responsible for coordinating Lean Thinker process flow and collecting and distributing the data throughout the teams.
Prepares various reports and presentations for all audience levels.
Research and develop new manufacturing techniques and processes.
Drive the MAFACT culture through internal audits maintaining follow-up on open issues.
Serve as the division’s MAFACT lead and support all internal and external MAFACT requirements.
Collect monthly data supporting WCM processes and corporate KPI’s, present charts to senior management.
Manage the master layout in AutoCAD therefore will need to be proficient in AutoCAD
Preform line balance evaluations and create replenishment routes.
This position requires up to 10% travel.
Who we are looking for:A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant work experience is required.
A minimum of two years’ experience in an engineering and/or manufacturing environment is required.
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.
Your preferred qualifications:Knowledge of IATF principles preferred.
Six Sigma certification preferred.
