The mission of the position, in the absence of a local Head of CBS, is to plan, coordinate and control all CBS activities to establish CBS philosophy, methodology and culture, as well as meeting budget and CBS Sprint targets (e.g. eliminate waste, maximize delivery performance, reduce cost and inventories). Furthermore, the CBS Specialist Lead initiates and implements action plans for continuous improvement of all plant processes. Act as Coach and Mentor to Managers at all levels, and CBS Specialists (if staffed in the same plant) to support them in executing the routine to deploy our holistic Lean Management System and TPOC. Develop, Train and Coach future and current site CBS resources within the region as well as all levels of managers. Communicate Central CBS ContiTech Group activities and coordinate with the CBS Regional Manager. If the plant is staffed with a Head of CBS, the CBS Specialist Lead is to support all CBS activities as directed by the Head of CBS. + manage and coordinate all CBS activities for the plant* + translate plant CBS strategy into action plans and ensure implementation (shared with Plant Manager)* + contribute to strategic and operative planning of the plant/operations unit by helping the plant management (and Head of CBS) facilitate the annual TPOC event, TPOC reviews, and Mission Control room (e.g. with respect to investments, capacity and headcount planning) + ensure the achievement of CBS targets according to internal and external customer expectations + live and promote the CBS principles and methods + initiate and control investments for CBS equipment (e.g. training materials, external trainings, etc.)* + interface to segment, regional functions in order to gather local CBS requirements and demands and other feedback* + participate in and/or steer global or local CBS related and cross-functional projects + conduct employee interviews and dialogues, personnel development and coaching* + coordinate Sprint management with the plant controller and plant manager* + Bachelor's degree: Business administration, engineering or related discipline + 3 to 5 or more years of experience in CBS/ Lean roles + Initial experience in rubber and plastic production processes + Experience implementing CBS and Lean training + Advanced English At Continental we are committed to building an inclusive and discrimination-free ecosystem in Mexico, these principles are rooted in our corporate philosophy and culture.
