Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **Role Definition** Leads, manages, and supports projects related to process and product improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, CPS and project management methodologies to achieve business goals. Coach, teach and develop others to use the tools and methodologies of Lean/CPS and 6 Sigma. Tap into unused employee creativity. Eliminate waste in every process and drive the organization towards standard work. **Responsibilities** • Designing and developing Six Sigma, CPS and other Lean programs, including supporting systems and tools, for quality and business process improvement. • Leading and managing Six Sigma project portfolios to achieve measurable business process improvements. • Providing technical training and guidance for Green Belt professionals on the planning, development and implementation of Six Sigma, VST and other Lean projects. • Employing Six Sigma, Lean methodology into organizational operations to meet business goals and objectives. • Measure results of their projects at the cell, Value Stream levels, utilizing the cell and Value Stream metrics and metric boards. Provide Lean Deployment Champion with the results and take corrective actions as required to improve on results below target. **Skill Descriptors** Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization. Level Working Knowledge: • Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives. • Examines a specific problem and understands the perspective of each involved stakeholder. • Develops alternative techniques for assessing accuracy and relevance of information. • Helps to analyze risks and benefits of alternative approaches and obtain decision on resolution. • Uses fact-finding techniques and diagnostic tools to identify problems. Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives. Level Working Knowledge: • Provides input for Gantt or PERT charts or their equivalent to track project progress and status. • Under guidance, plans and estimates simple projects. • Assists in detailed project plans including cost, schedule, and resource requirements. • Obtains information from stakeholders during the planning stage of a project. • Produces standard project status reports. **Background/Experience:** At a minimum, the individual must be or have been a 6 Sigma Black Belt. Prior supervisory experience is a plus. Should have project management skills, team leadership skills, and good communication skills. **Additional Information:** Language Requirement: **Bilingual – Chinese and Japanese is required** . **Fluent in Chinese and Japanese,** capable of seamless communication, writing and reading in both languages. Proficient in English reading and writing with the ability to communicate in English.
