Our products and services address these needs – from the pediatric to aging eye – in a patient’s lifetime. **Purpose:** J&J MedTech Vision Supply Chain is embarking on a Lean transformation to accelerate and innovate in the areas of waste reduction, operational efficiency, and supply reliability. This role will support leadership in driving consistent total delivered cost improvement year over year, building a best-in-class supply chain, designing improvement roadmaps, and developing Lean capabilities for the future. **You will be responsible for:** + Lead Vision Care Lean Process and Strategy for all supply chain functions through a process to systematically find opportunities to enhance operational performance and site business processes through internal/external benchmarking and continuous improvement tools; supply chain functions include – but are not limited to – Plan, Make, Source, Deliver, Quality, etc. + Drive JJV functional data collection and check quality of information using pre-diagnostic analyses and other analytical tools + Drive the development of Lean multiyear roadmaps aligned with JJV supply chain competitiveness strategies/site missions (Diagnostics, Phases and Health check) in coordination with all supply chain functions + In partnership, lead the execution of the Lean transformation roadmaps defining detailed dates for each activity and anticipated implications (resources, communication, change management) + Implement continuous improvement initiatives using various Lean methodologies and principles (e.g., 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Kaizen, etc.) + Deliver against the JJV and functional productivity, cost, inventory, capacity, and lead time annual and long-term goals + Instill a culture of continuous improvement, and a mindset of challenging the status quo + Adapt to a constantly evolving, matrix environment and leverage change as an opportunity to improve processes and tools + Plan and deliver trainings in improvement methodologies to raise the organizational acumen + Coach partners in application of Lean methodology and tools **Qualifications / Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in supply chain or engineering + 8+ years of progressive business experience in a regulated industry, with a strong background in supply chain + Certification in industry or university Lean/Six Sigma/Process Excellence is required + Proven experience in leading cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities within a matrix organization. + Excellent collaboration, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to engage partners at all levels. + Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, coupled with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. + Ability to work independently while demonstrating a high degree of initiative and leadership in a fast-paced environment. + Occasionally, this position will require non-traditional hours to support teams in different time zones. **Other:** + Proficient in MS Office and project management software tools. + Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%
