Job Description
Position Summary:
Perform physical tasks in warehouses, and the storage, transfer, and handling of these materials according to established procedures, completing the process promptly and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of documentation against the physical quantity and the SAP system.
You will report to our Warehouse Supervisor.
Main Responsibilities:
Perform periodic or cycle counts of materials to ensure the required and accurate level of materials is maintained.
Provide immediate responses and closing FTPC system notifications related to materials used in the production plant (FTPC Monitor) to ensure material control.
Store materials received in the warehouse promptly and according to instructions, so they are available for the production floor outfitting process.
File documentation generated in the warehouse related to material control to ensure it is documented promptly following the department's established guidelines and procedures.
Communicate and report any problems encountered during the receiving or shipping process to the area supervisor so that appropriate measures or actions can be taken.
Ensure the orderly production and distribution of products by removing orders from inventory, delivering materials and production supplies, and organizing the final distribution of the finished product.
Identify and report/report promptly any type of problem related to the receiving/shipping processes of materials in the warehouse in order for management to take appropriate action.
Collaborate with internal departments to locate lost packages, fix incorrect deliveries and replace damaged products ensuring the smooth running of the production plant.
You will maintain the working area observing the 5S system to guarantee the safety of the warehouse and avoid undesired events within the warehouse.
Requirements:
1. High school graduate.
2. University student in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields,.
3. 5 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, and materials handling.
4. Knowledge of inventory and materials control.
5. Basic knowledge of English.
6. Intermediate knowledge of Office suites.
7. Basic knowledge of customs processes.
