Ferguson is currently seeking a versatile individual to fill an immediate need for a Lead Warehouse Associate. If you have familiarity and experience with warehousing, shipping and receiving, coupled with a dedication to phenomenal customer service, this is the position for you!
Hours are Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
ResponsibilitiesThis role will be responsible for the crucial job functions described below:
Effectively lead associates through the daily pick and pack process according to company standard operating proceduresDirect and perform a variety of warehousing duties such as loading, checking, order picking, and shippingSupervise and verify the accuracy of outbound shipments by checking items and quantities against picking documentsAssist in training, mentoring and development of associatesReceive, verify, stage and stock all incoming materialResponsible for ensuring warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all timesMust adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.Coordinate and maintain driver routes and support the preparation of route details for driversQualificationsA background in Warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is helpfulHave a high school diploma/GED or equivalent educationSense of teamwork, ownership, and attention to detail in your work5 years experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferredComputer experience preferred; ability to facilitate change within the organization in a positive mannerSelf-starter with ability to learn our systems quicklyProven understanding of safety regulations and proceduresGeneral digital literacy for basic data entryForklift Operator experience requiredAt Ferguson, we care for each other. Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
