Shift: Sunday through Thursday from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am (or until task complete)

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Demonstrate expert understanding of all levels of the job family and has thorough knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibilityApplies extensive knowledge and company policies to complete a wide range of assignments.May provide technical guidance and training to othersMaintains appropriate licenses, training and certificationsWorks on complex problems that require independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issueMakes recommendations for new or revised processes and has a role on the implementationWorks with minimal degree of supervision. Has latitude to make decisions in exceptional circumstances within established guidelinesTraining new employees on company and departmental procedures as appropriate Ensuring that safety, productivity and quality standards are metDirectly supporting employees in the warehouse across all functions, including: Order processing (accurately picking, checking, sorting, cycle counting, consolidating freight, wrapping pallets, packing, and loading products)

Qualifications

Excellent interpersonal, organizational and follow up skills4+ years experience preferredProficient in Microsoft officeGood written communication skills High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred

Anticipated hourly range: $22.30 per hour - $30.69 per hour
