We work with our colleagues at Wicstun Vet Group to extend the range of services we can offer. Our own team of vets and nurses are available 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Our dedicated vets have many years of experience between them which they regularly update to keep abreast of current thinking in veterinary medicine. All our nurses have a passion for making your pets stay with us as comfortable as possible. Our friendly and helpful reception team strive to make your interaction with us as stress free and relaxed as possible. The practice was founded in 1954 by John Crooks. Mr Crooks came from working with 'James Herriot' and brought a medicine bottle full of the “Skeldale” air to infuse the atmosphere of his new practice at 28 Norwood, close to the centre of the thriving market town of Beverley. We have remained at the same premises but behind the original frontage much has changed. Over time we have evolved from a traditional mixed practice to now mainly providing a high quality first opinion service with a wide range of diagnostic and surgical equipment plus hospitalisation facilities for the pets of Beverley and the surrounding area. In 2021 we opened a second surgery in Kingswood which will compliment our Beverley surgery and enabling us to provide our highest quality care to a wider community. At Linnaeus, we are committed to supporting the physical and mental health of all our Associates. We have an experienced team of Mental Health First Aiders(MHFA) across our practices and central support office in addition to a confidential Employee Assistance Programme which is available for everyone. If you’d like to find out more, please get in touch with Rebecca Colman at rebecca.coleman@linnaeusgroup.co.uk \#LI-RC1 #LI-Onsite
