Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Lead Valve Technician. If you have a love of meeting people and providing great customer service, coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion-dollar organization, this is the position for you!

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm plus overtime as needed

Responsibilities

As a Lead Valve Technician, you will be responsible for the following, including, but not limited to:

Responsible for assembly of all automated packagesFollow all established standard operating procedures for valve automation including maintaining a safe and organized workspace and observing necessary safety precautions during assembly, testing, storage, and transfer of productFollow all proper procedures for set up, use and maintenance of tools, and equipment in the automation centerCourteous interaction and communication with inside and outside sales, management, and warehouse personnelProfessional interaction with customers when addressing questions and concerns about automated packagesTroubleshoot automated packages, in house and in the field, to perform necessary work and repairsAssist with developing automated valve sales training programPerform functional automated valve testing, record, and store dataWork closely with inspectors to meet customer demands

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

2 to 5 years experienceBasic knowledge of computersSmartsheets experience strongly preferredAbility to read and understand customer technical data and schematicsAbility to multi-task and meet order deadlinesKnowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory controlBe goal oriented, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines, build relationships, and enjoy a team atmospherePossess a positive attitudeExcellent communication, time management, and organizational skillsA self-motivator and have an ambition to succeedEnthusiastic, courteous, and articulateAbility to learn quickly

Pay Range:

$21.20 - $33.93

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
