Primary Responsibilities:

Upon the order of a qualified provider, the Ultrasound Lead Technologist utilizes equipment that employs high frequency sound waves for diagnostic purposes according to policies, procedures, and protocols of the KSC Radiology Department and Kelsey-Seybold ClinicImaging services vary by location, therefore, performance of special procedures but not limited to breast sonohysterography and/or vascular ultrasound may be required depending on assigned siteThe Ultrasound Lead Technologist will utilize the designated Radiology Information System (RIS) to complete clerical processes and the designated Patient Archiving System (PACS)May be assigned to other duties, technical or non-technical if training, experience and credentials are deemed adequate by supervisor to perform those dutiesFunctions as a team leader, with appropriate attention to process improvement and team development

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalentGraduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Education sufficient to meet the ACR accreditation guidelines for an US TechnologistRDMS with minimum 2 specialty ultrasound registries as well as the RVT or RVS, or RT (R)(S), as well as the RVT or RVS5+ years of ultrasound experience or 3+ years of KSC Ultrasound experienceAbility to use computer keyboard and grasp elements of digital image acquisitionExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science-Healthcare related degreeRT (R), RDMS, (Ab)(OB)(BR) RVT and/or RVS5+ years of ultrasound experiencePACS and RIS experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.27 to $50.48 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
