You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute test strategies that align with business objectives. Your expertise in data models and bioinformatics will be advantageous in enhancing our testing processes. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of day shifts without travel requirements. **Responsibilities** + Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive test strategies for Werum PAS-X systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. + Oversee the execution of test plans including functional integration and regression testing to identify and resolve defects. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios. + Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testers fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning. + Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders highlighting areas for improvement and potential risks. + Ensure adherence to industry best practices and standards in testing methodologies and processes. + Utilize domain expertise in data models and bioinformatics to enhance testing strategies and improve system validation. + Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues and defects. + Implement automated testing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts. + Monitor and evaluate testing processes to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation. + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in testing and quality assurance. + Drive initiatives to improve test coverage and reduce time-to-market for new system releases. + Collaborate with project managers to ensure testing timelines align with overall project schedules. **Basic Qualifications** + Possess a deep understanding of Werum PAS-X systems and their application in testing environments. + Demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data models effectively. + Exhibit proficiency in bioinformatics contributing to enhanced testing strategies. + Have a proven track record of leading successful testing projects in a hybrid work model. + Show excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and team members effectively. + Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry advancements. + Hold a bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field.
