Wolters Kluwer Health's Clinical Effectiveness (CE) organization is a fast-growing and innovation-driven healthcare information technology (HIT) provider working on the front lines of clinical care. As our new Lead Technology Product Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in aligning global product strategy with the evolving needs of healthcare markets across Europe. While your primary focus will be on the European region, you will also contribute to defining and developing product features that support the broader international segment—ensuring our solutions are scalable, locally relevant, and globally aligned. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives at the intersection of market insight, product excellence, and cross-border collaboration.

Responsibilities

Develop data-driven market research and country/region-specific intelligence on:

Market and regulatory trends

Market segments and sub-segments, characterizing size, and expected growth

Customer procurement process and buying behaviors (including willingness to pay)

The competitive landscape for CE offerings

Market and customer needs

Evaluation of healthcare user and buyer personas

Healthcare workflows, evidenced based medicine, and clinical decision making

Support launching new products and releases, defining product positioning, and ensuring operational readiness:

Collaborate with core product management teams to define and scope features

Collaborate with product marketing and sales to support the development and execution of comprehensive launch plans

Partner with product management, finance, and pricing teams to develop business cases

Collaborate with product marketing to develop effective messaging and positioning to serve as content for marketing programs, differentiate CE solutions in the market, and communicate the benefits of CE to multiple buyer types

Enable the training team to support their development of training to sales and customer success on both new and existing products and market

Innovate on new product and feature ideas to support growth within the International segment.

Gather market intelligence using tools such as surveys, customer interviews, sales feedback to inform innovation requirements and product development needs

Bring new innovation ideas through concept definition, problem validation, and solution validation stages

Construct analysis and business cases to advance new product ideas within the company

Balance market-specific requirements with scalable product designs that align with global architecture.

Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as the connective tissue between local market teams and the global product, marketing, sales operations, contracting, pricing, and engineering functions.

Ensure regional input is factored into the global roadmap while helping prioritize features that serve multiple countries.

Qualifications

Required:

University degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in healthcare IT, clinical decision support, or digital health, or in a strategic consulting role with direct exposure to product development, go-to-market strategy, or digital health innovation.

Proven track record of leading product strategy and execution in international or regional markets.

Fluency in German and English is required.

Preferred:

Experience balancing localization and global product scalability in a complex, international environment.

Strong understanding of the full software product development lifecycle.

Familiarity with European and/or German healthcare systems and clinical workflows.

Experience working in matrixed, cross-functional teams across geographies.
