About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a seasoned Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant to join the Debit Card Processing team within Consumer Small and Business Banking. This individual will be responsible for driving strategic payments initiatives and delivering impactful technology solutions across business and technical domains.
In this role, you will:
Lead complex payments initiatives to provide technological solutions with broad impact for cross functional businesses and technology teams
Evaluate highly complex business problems and provide subject matter knowledge proficiency for technology initiatives
Define and lead detailed research on business and technology requests to develop efficient and accurate functional requirements
Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of domain and technology applications
Lead project or systems documentation, and monitor and manage project schedules and deliverables
Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions for complex business problems
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise in Debit Card, Credit Card, and Deposits systems, supporting operational excellence and customer experience.
Proactively identified and mitigated payments fraud, leveraging data analysis and cross-functional collaboration to reduce risk.
Deep understanding of banking and payments systems, including transaction processing, compliance, and customer lifecycle.
Successfully led Agile Scrum teams from Discovery through Go-Live, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact features.
Managed complex projects across multiple stakeholders, driving alignment and execution from ideation to launch.
Partnered closely with technology teams to define and refine requirements for new features and functionality, translating business needs into actionable development plans.
Skilled in Agile methodologies and proficient in JIRA for sprint planning, backlog grooming, and tracking deliverables.
Created compelling PowerPoint presentations to communicate project status, strategy, and outcomes to executive leadership.

Salary Range:
Minnesota: $119,000-206,000 annually
Actual salary is determined by location, experience and qualifications of the job.
