Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine **We are searching for the best talent for a Lead Technician QC Lab Services to be located in Gurabo, PR.** The Lead Technician QC Lab Services monitors reliability, performance and financial metrics of the QC Laboratory. Responsible for coordination of laboratory supplies purchasing, assist when necessary, in the generation of purchase orders and performs order tracking. Supports the laboratory samples pickup when necessary to assure the timely release of product testing. **You will be responsible for** **:** + Responsible for the implementation and support of the Quality Control daily performance meetings in all the three labs. + Reports the reliability, performance and safety metrics to Quality Control Laboratory key internal and external stakeholders. + Coordinates the Purchasing/Receiving and organizing of laboratory supplies/reagents as needed and services orders. + Coordinates/Assists in the pick-up of samples and deliveries to the laboratories/ Receives samples in the laboratory systems when necessary. + Coordinates, receives and assembles documentation required by the analysts or order release. + Responsible for coordinating the documentation delivery in corresponding storage area. + Coordinates the discard of used sample materials and solutions. + Coordinates/Supports the delivery of samples to contract laboratories. + Participates in the planning scheduled meetings with the laboratory supervisors **Qualifications** **Education:** + A minimum of a BA/BS Science or equivalent degree. **Experience** **Required:** + A minimum of 6 years of work experience in general laboratory and inventory maintenance exposure. + Knowledge of Purchasing Software like Ariba, eMarketPlace, among others. + Experience with Accounts Payable Claims resolutions **Preferred:** + Experience in pharmaceutical industry + Completely detailed instructions. + Little latitude in the method of performing work. + Resolves routine problems, referring all others to supervisor. + Routine work according to standard instructions. + Moderate latitude in the method of performing work. + Resolves routine problems, with reduced supervisory review. + Takes action as indicated by general instructions, established procedures, and clearly defined policies. + Exercises initiative and ingenuity in dealing with varying circumstances and changing conditions. + Exercises ingenuity to take action in the absence of previous instructions, to develop new and/or improved work methods. + Resolves problems of an unusual nature, with supervisory review available.
