Eaton’s Power Components Division is currently seeking a Lead Technician - Engineering. This is an on-site position based at our Moon Township, PA facility.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $53253.0 - $78104.4 a year.

**What you’ll do:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technician to support our engineering team in testing and evaluating prototypes and production samples. This role involves hands-on testing, data documentation, and collaboration with engineers to improve product performance and reliability.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Collaborate with project engineers to understand and execute test plans
+ Assemble new products using technical drawings and specifications
+ Conduct electrical and mechanical tests on prototypes and production units
+ Document test procedures, record data, and prepare detailed reports
+ Recommend design or process improvements based on test outcomes
+ Assist in the design and construction of test fixtures
+ Maintain and operate test equipment according to standard procedures
+ Support safety initiatives and help enforce safety protocols
+ Manage assignments independently, applying creativity and problem-solving
+ Share technical knowledge to support team development
**Qualifications:**
**Required (Basic) Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution OR Associate’s degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Technology from an accredited institution and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical role in the mechanical field OR High school diploma/GED and minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical role in the mechanical field

**Skills:**
+ Aptitude in the use of hand tools for mechanical assembly and electrical wiring of test apparatus and devices to be tested
+ Ability to safely use basic, advanced, and specialized hand tools and test equipment
+ General knowledge of fabrication equipment
+ General knowledge and ability to understand specialized electrical testing procedures
+ Interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills
+ Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members to problem solve
+ Knowledge of word-processing software (Microsoft office)
