Lead Technician - Engineering
Eaton’s Power Components Division is currently seeking a Lead Technician - Engineering. This is an on-site position based at our Beaver, PA facility. The expected annual salary range for this role is $53253.0 - $78104.4 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. **What you’ll do:** The primary purpose of this position is to conduct mechanical and electrical testing to support Eaton’s engineering teams in product development, sustainment, and certification efforts. The role includes assembling test setups, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring compliance with EHS and 5S standards. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform electrical tests in accordance with UL, CSA, IEC, and NEMA standards for electrical distribution products. + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable testing standards. + Accurately record test data for review by project engineers. + Assemble and maintain test setups and fixtures; track inventory of test fixtures. + Conduct pre- and post-calibrations, dielectric, thermal, circuit configuration, and vibration testing. + Support lab organization and cleanliness through 5S practices. + Assist in developing and enforcing lab safety protocols. + Manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely delivery of test results. + Share technical knowledge with peers to enhance team capabilities. + Complete additional tasks as assigned by the manager. **Qualifications:** **Required (Basic) Qualifications:** + Associate’s degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Technology from an accredited institution OR minimum of 4 years of experience in a technical role in the electro/mechanical field + Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
