Lead Technical Program Manager - Core Platform Engineering

As a Lead Technical Program Manager in Core Platform Engineering, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for developing innovative solutions, while simultaneously effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to navigate through ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals. With advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities, you will foster productive working relationships and influence decision-making to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. As a subject matter expert, you will contribute to the development of operational plans and risk management strategies, ensuring the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery.  This role will report into the Chief of Staff, to manage team business operations, finance operations, team communications, customer engagements and culture investments. Job responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutionsIdentify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentumCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goalsUtilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectivenessChampion the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the teamOversee and optimize operational workflows, ensuring smooth execution of initiatives  Develop, implement, and refine operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce friction, and enhance productivity across teams Manage the team’s budget, including tracking expenditures, forecasting needs, and ensuring financial discipline  Provide support for strategic projects and initiatives for the leadership team Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and other critical documents for leadership and stakeholders 

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organizationAdvanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clientsAdvanced experience in utilizing technical fluency, including knowledge of vendor products and managing vendor relations, to enable on-demand access to shared pools of applications and servicesProven track record of effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environmentDemonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities  Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Management, Finance or a related field  Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely   Advanced level experience using Microsoft Office Suite – PowerPoint, Excel, Word Ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders.  

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience reporting directly to a Chief of Staff or similar senior leadership roleExperience in platform engineering, product delivery or infrastructure-focused team
