About the Role  
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to help lead our Release Management function. This role is critical in delivering innovative UKG Pro Suite capabilities through consistent and predictable releases while maintaining secure and high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in a SaaS environment, experience with CI/CD practices, and a background in transitioning from traditional waterfall methodologies.


Responsibilities
• Develop and manage end-to-end release processes, timelines, and deliverables to ensure high-quality, on-time product launches.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and TPM teams to coordinate and align release plans, priorities, and dependencies.
• Utilize JIRA expertise to streamline and optimize release tracking and reporting processes.
• Proactively identify and address potential risks in release plans, working with appropriate stakeholders to implement mitigation strategies.
• Establish and maintain release health dashboards to provide real-time visibility into release status and deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement of release management processes through feedback loops and metrics analysis.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication to ensure smooth execution of release plans.


Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of technical program management experience, with a focus on release management in a SaaS environment.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD practices
• Advanced proficiency in JIRA and other project management tools.
• Proven track record in managing complex, multi-team release cycles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive alignment across diverse teams.
• Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies within software development projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Perform in a hybrid-office role, requiring three or more days per week in the office.




Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with enterprise-level SaaS products.
• Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or agile methodologies (CSM, SAFe).
• Familiarity with release management tools and frameworks for planning, tracking, and coordinating releases e.g. JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, TestRail, PowerBI
