Lead Systems Operations Engineer

In this role, you will:

Lead complex, broad impact initiatives including provision of high-level systems consultation for the technology teamsWork as a key participant in large scale planning of computer systems and network infrastructure for Systems Operations functional areaIdentify opportunities and implement process improvements for system upgrade execution.Review and analyze complex technical challenges, as well as escalated support issues related to core business solutions that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, such as alternatives, enhancements, periodic systems reviews, or improvements to existing systemsMake decisions on technical changes and enhancementsConsult with engineering team on change design requiring solid understanding of technical process controls or standards that influence and drive new initiativesCollaborate and consult with technical peers, colleagues, and mid to more experienced level managers to resolve systems support issues and achieve goals


Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2+ years of experience with Change, Incident, Problem management.2+ years of experience with Automation2+ years of experience with Python /PowerShell/Java scripting

Desired Qualifications:

Collaborate with work stream leaders as well as integration leads, and process leads to document the gapsCreate reporting framework for all levelsUnderstand the requirements to normalize the data sets.Experience with ServiceNow, Splunk, Big PandaTroubleshoots hardware and software issues using general guidelines and templates, by updating and creating documentation and procedures (playbooks that will be used by Incident Commanders)Ability to identify the Toil/Process improvements and work towards addressing them as part of day-to-day activitiesMaintain, troubleshoot and restore service or data to production systems in support of Always-On initiative.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$119,000.00 - $224,000.00
