As a Lead System Integrator specializing in Data Integration, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing and implementing data integration solutions to lead the development of large-scale custom distributed software systems using the latest Java, Scala, and Big Data technologies. Negotiates with senior management, clients and various stakeholders often with competing and conflicting goals, objectives and priorities. + Communicates effectively and in a timely manner to stakeholders and Staff for project delivery, solution implementation, incident management and technical support. + Supervising technical staff and coaching internal business and technical teams. + Provides leadership in the evaluation, selection and recommendation of technical solutions and professional services; manages development team, vendors and contractors in the overall solution delivery process. **What you’ll need to succeed (required skills):** + Minimum 10-15 years of relevant backend application development experience in Java, Microservices and Spring/Spring Boot. + Must have 4+ years of hands-on project experience on Bigdata ecosystem (Good understanding of Hadoop, preferable cloudera distribution), exposure to Hive, Impala, Yarn, Kafka). + Must have programming skills including Scala, Java 8, Java 17, Python. Services and products integration experiences including Kafka, Elasticsearch, Azure. + Architect and design large-scale, distributed big data solutions using Java and big data technologies to handle high-volume data processing and analytics. + Strong experience in real-time data streaming using Apache Kafka or similar technologies. + Architect solutions for large-scale data ingestion, storage, and aggregation that serve analytics and operational workloads. + Good knowledge of Java and spark architecture and design principles. + Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture. + Knowledge of current and emerging system design, development concepts and technologies including agile development methodology, cloud-based solutions and services, web portals, data migration, business/data modelling methodologies, Enterprise Application Integration, business intelligence and decision support for a multi-tiered, multi-platform, network centric computing environment. + Working experience of database technologies (SQL), db2, Oracle, TerraData, SQL Server. + Ability to establish and maintain an effective relationship with corporate clients, external stakeholders and vendors. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders. **What will help you stand out (preferred skills):** + Banking Domain Experience. + Unix/Python shell scripting experience is a big plus.
