Automation Engineer Job Description The Automation Engineer will be responsible for integrating, automating, and troubleshooting systems for a diverse range of customers. The role involves modifying code in Rockwell, creating system configurations, and assisting projects from initiation to completion. Typically, work is focused on one project at a time, but there may be instances of handling up to three projects simultaneously within a short timeframe. Responsibilities + Interface with clients during design meetings and conference calls. + Collaborate with project teams, lead less experienced engineers, and follow guidance from project managers or lead engineers. + Program controllers using Rockwell and Siemens platforms. + Design electrical control cabinets and panels. + Test system configurations to ensure functionality. + Travel to client sites for project meetings. + Travel to client sites for system commissioning. Essential Skills + Proficiency in automation, PLCs, and control systems. + Experience with Rockwell and Siemens platforms. + Skills in panel wiring, panel design, and electrical design. + Engineering Degree. + 2-8 years of relevant experience. + Minimum of 2 years working experience demonstrating proficiency with Rockwell platforms. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Willingness to travel up to 25%. Work Environment The work environment includes a clean office space and occasional visits to manufacturing environments to see products come to life. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr. Will send over benefits info to candidate when they get to that part of the interview process.
