Our Supply Chain Supervisor will need to think strategically and set priorities for the Materials Team in order to supply materials to production that are timely, high quality, and efficient. We need someone who is a phenomenal teammate, and able to operate in a sophisticated, multifaceted business environment. Duties include but are not limited to purchasing and directing purchase of inventory and non-inventory parts, maintaining accurate inventory, fostering strategic partnerships with vendors, and collaborating with accounting and finance partners to meet the need of the business.
Primary Responsibilities:
Advising and purchasing for direct and indirect materialsMaintaining inventory and associated financial dataManagement of vendors and associated purchasing agreementsImport/Export compliance and executionGlobal Trade Compliance awareness and assistanceMinimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum Required Education: Associates degree or higher in supply chain or other relevant field3-5 years of experience in supply chain and/ or ERP data management requiredKnowledge of industrial purchasing standard methodologies and accounting practicesExperience ERP/MRPExcelling critical communication skillsStrong PPI, Lean and or Six Sigma working experience with demonstrated achievement of continuous improvement through utilization of Lean toolsThermoFisher Scientific is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation. Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Colorado is $75,800.00–$113,675.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
