Why Join Us | DuPont Careers (https://careers.dupont.com/us/en/whyjoinus) **Lead Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)** Under minimal supervision, the Lead Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) will support Supplier Quality Management and Quality Engineering activities (Carlsbad facility). Responsibilities include, but not limited to: North American site Supplier Quality Management, Document Change Control, Data Analysis, development and publishing of Quality Metric Reports. Coordination of Internal & External Audits, Training Management, Internal & External Corrective Actions and oversight of the Mechanical Testing Lab. **Responsibilities:** + Drive Supplier Quality Management improvement activities for North American Manufacturing sites + Provide support and technical guidance to other North American manufacturing site SQE’s as required + Assist procurement with supplier selection, development, improvement and risk analysis + Support and/or lead supplier quality audits, quality and performance investigations + Resolve customer complaints caused by supplier materials with root cause and corrective action + Monitor supplier performance and assist North American Manufacturing sites with supplier performance issues. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement supplier quality improvement initiatives. + Provide training to suppliers on quality management systems and expectations. + Work with suppliers to resolve quality-related issues at the root cause level. + Maintain the Document Change Database to ensure compliance with company QMS requirements. + Collect and analyze Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data and publish Quality Metric Reports. + Assists Quality Management in planning, coordination and conducting of internal & external audits. + Maintain the Training Management Database to ensure compliance with company QMS requirements + Assist Quality Engineers with customer complaints, corrective actions and prevention activities. **Qualifications:** + Experience with ISO-9001, ISO-13485, AS9100 or IATF 16949 Quality Mgmt. System Standards + Must have strong teamwork and communication skills, (both verbal and written), including the ability to work with Customers, Suppliers and other department personnel. + Must have good data collection and analysis skills with strong attention to details. + Must have good organizational and problem solving skills. + Ability to read & interpret engineering and customer drawings and use measuring and test equipment. + Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint + Support supplier audits and corrective actions, which may include about 25% travel + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Quality, Engineering or Manufacturing is required. + Minimum of 5 years Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment. + Experienced with AS9102 Aerospace First Article Inspection Reports (FAI) is a plus + Supplier Quality Engineering and Document Control Management experience is a plus. **This position requires access to export-controlled technology, technical data or defense services, as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate’s ability to access export-controlled technology, technical data or defense services as authorized pursuant to US regulation or an export authorization obtained by DuPont approved by the controlling US government agency.** \#LI-JS1 Join our Talent Community (http://careers.dupont.com/us/en/jointalentcommunity) to stay connected with us!
