**About the Role**
As a Lead Supplier Quality Engineer at Copeland, you will be the key person for NPD parts development, new supplier qualification, cost and capacity improvement projects and supplier quality improvement. Your rule also will be building strong supplier relationships, managing KPIs and aligning supplier capabilities with organizational quality standards. And passionate about delivering zero-defect components and elevating supply chain reliability in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Develop and qualify local suppliers for Power Metal, Machining, Stamping, Casting etc.
+ Implement the supplier development projects and manage the schedule for delivery timely.
+ Conduct on-site suppliers’ PPAP (Production Part Approval Procedure) and control the PPAP quality.
+ Work with suppliers to continuously improve the supplier quality performance.
+ Solve the issues caused by supplier quality and take the preventive actions.
+ Audit suppliers’ quality system and process, work with suppliers to drive the improvement actions.
+ Support suppliers on capacity increase and cost down projects.
+ Conduct feasibility review with relevant teams.
+ Coach and share technical knowledge with whole team.
**Requirements:**
+ BS degree in mechanical or other related engineering background.
+ Be familiar with PPAP, MSA, PFMEA, SPC, APQP, ISO9001, Audit skills, GD&T etc. Capable understand Engineering Prints and Specification.
+ At least 10 years’ experience of supplier quality and developing.
+ Good communication and Teamwork player, work independently.

+ Good skill for project management and schedule control, Traveling is required.
+ Capable for problem solving and follow up.
+ Fluent English is preferred.
+ Be good at Microsoft Excel, Power Point etc software skill.
