Lead Specialist, Sales Planning

The Lead Specialist, Sales Planning is an order management expert responsible for leading the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders while ensuring exceptional customer service to external and internal teams. This role involves order verification, resolving complex discrepancies, and assisting in managing team operations to meet customer delivery requirements and maintain the highest possible customer scorecard ratings for OTIF (On-Time, In-Full). This position requires genuine, demonstrated technical ability with the candidate able to confidently and seamlessly navigate systems, platforms, and portals, leveraging technology daily to drive accuracy. The position also will require strong operational execution with supporting knowledge of EDI systems and SAP to facilitate process improvements and system coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
Order Management Operations (~70%)
-Customer Order Processing & Fulfillment
Responsible for international and domestic customer order processing (EDI/Email) to ensure accuracy and timely deliveryAccurately process and manage incoming orders from key retailers (Walmart, Target, Amazon, CVS, and others)Manage order verification processes including pricing, item quantities, out-of-stock situations, item codes, case pack requirements, and shipping detailsEnsure customer delivery requirements are met and maintain the highest possible customer scorecard rating for OTIF-Customer Service & Relationship Management
Resolve order discrepancies and issues through collaboration with customers and internal teams-Inventory & Allocation Management
Make critical decisions on inventory allocation during shortage situationsSystems & Process Improvement (30%)
-EDI & System Management
Manage EDI order processing workflows and resolve technical issuesCoordinate with IT teams on system enhancements and troubleshooting

You Bring:
