The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a Lead Space Systems Lab (SSL) Test Execution Integrator to join our team in El Segundo, CA. The selected candidates will integrate SSL test execution requirements and resources to conduct environmental testing. This role will mainly collaborate with the SSL Leadership & Integration Senior Manager, SSL engineering, SSL Project Office, and internal/external customers.

Position Responsibilities Include:

Provide leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customersDevelop statement of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirementsWork with customers and management to obtain approvalIdentify and manage changes to statement of work and assess the impact of those changes, and incorporate changes into statement of workNegotiate proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedulesLead project execution to complete the work statementIdentify performance metricsPlan, identify and coordinate resources required over the life of the project or programAssign responsibility for activities to team members and ensures technical correctness and consistency of products and servicesDirect proposal development to complete the work statementCompare actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learnedIdentify corrective actions to improve project or team performanceProvide technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans.Work under consultative directionCoordinate with other BT&E functions to ensure test readinessCoordinate/collaborate with programs and business partnersCoordinate and guides product test planning, assessment of test capabilities and leads activities to ensure availability of test equipment, materials, fixtures and vehiclesPerform analysis of general test capabilities to assess site needs for long-range planning and forecasting to support strategic initiatives

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science  3+ years of experience performing environmental testing in any of the following regimes: thermal extremes in a vacuum or thermal chamber, vibration, acoustics, and propulsion systems3+ years of experience in leading others and directing all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

An active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)Master of Science in Engineering and/or Master of Business AdministrationExperience as a lead, a supervisor, or a manager

Shift:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: $150,450 – $203,550
