Partner with the best
You will execute on the sourcing plans and drive opportunities to preferred suppliers, and negotiate cost reductions. You will implement sourcing plans to effectively manage sourcing activities portfolio to maximize supplier performance (cost/quality/lead time) and support business plan.
As a Lead Sourcing Specialist - Sourcing Management, you will be responsible for:
· Developing and Implementing Sourcing strategies for Sourcing across all functions, leading synergies where possible.
· Evaluating suppliers through reviews/site visits/audits to assure supply capabilities, on-time delivery, quality and service for existing as well as new suppliers.
· Conducting comparative analysis of vendor products and services to develop and implement deflation and cost savings.
· Conducting RFx and bidding processes. Minimizing risk and maximizing value in terms of quality, delivery and cost.
· Defining supplier strategy including identification and development of Strategic and Preferred suppliers.
· Managing supplier relationship with Regional and Local suppliers.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
· Have a Bachelor's from an accredited school
· Show 5+ years solid experience in Sourcing in Oil and Gas or relevant industry
· Have experience with value streams, cost drivers and how to break down cost structures
· Be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working independently
· Be a team player and display good communication and writing skills both in English and Chinese
· Have experience with key aspects of the RFI/RFQ sourcing process
· Be able to lead global negotiations for high value contracts
· Be proficient in MS Office, SAP, SAP Ariba and Oracle
