Lead Solutions Support Representative

Position Summary:

Lead Solutions Support Representative, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional support regarding technical product specifications and pricing. This position is ideal for individuals with a mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing background who are ready to develop their skills in a dynamic environment. While we welcome entry-level candidates, your technical understanding will be crucial in guiding customer inquiries and managing project bids.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement: Establish and maintain direct communication with Encon Safety Products customers on technical, commercial, and pricing inquiries, ensuring clarity and transparency.

Bid Management: Collaborate on budgetary requests, assisting with product specifications and bid parameters, while effectively managing timelines and documentation.

Project Oversight: Actively participate in the project contract process, overseeing all phases from quoting to sales completion, including monitoring project status and customer decisions.

Value Engineering: Offer customers engineered alternative products that satisfy project requirements while optimizing costs related to materials and delivery.

Collaboration: Work closely with sales personnel, engineering, and production departments to ensure a seamless communication flow and resolve any specification or code issues.

Complaint Resolution: Manage customer feedback through the Customer Feedback Response process, ensuring timely and effective responses to concerns.

Technical Support: Review engineering and architectural plans, and provide assistance with business information modeling (BIM) tools where necessary.

Additional Duties: Undertake other responsibilities as assigned to support team goals and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Technical Background: Candidates must possess a mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing background. A degree in a STEM field is strongly preferred, though technical training or certification may be considered.

Entry-Level Candidates Welcome: This role is well-suited for new graduates or those with up to two years of relevant experience.

Software Proficiency: Basic experience with Microsoft Excel is required. Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Epicor Manufacturing, is advantageous but not mandatory.

Customer Service Mindset: Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to fulfilling customer needs are essential.
