Your Challenge:
Supports Annual Sales Plan through pre-sales and/or post-sales technical consulting activities (Requires extensive knowledge of company's complex products).
Responsible for the Management of a Team of Field Application Engineers to include:
Regular check-ins on workload and role enablement (Process, Tools & Training)
Support and mentoring for complex technical sales tasks to assure successful customer integration and implementation of established company products.
Support for Pre-Sales Strategic Customer Engagement:
Customer Meeting Support promoting Curtiss-Wright capability and aligning Curtiss-Wright solutions to customer needs
Customer Technology Day Support promoting Curtiss-Wright capability and aligning Curtiss-Wright solutions to customer needs
Triage and qualify customer enquiries/requests to prioritise and classify new business
Consultative Bid Support for Customer Requests
Customer Architecture Requirements Discussions & Definitions
Capture and analyse customer requirements and consult with internal stake-holders to architect compliant system solutions
Preparation and presentation of technical proposals of how Curtiss-Wright's products can meet customer needs and be integrated and implemented with customer's systems and equipment.
Promote and drive new business through networking events, trade shows, conferences and social media.
Support for Post-Sales activities include:
Keeping customers up-to-date on how Curtiss-Wright's product enhancements can meet customer's changing business needs
Provide first line technical support, identify and allocate appropriate resources to solve post-sales issues.
An ability to perform basic hardware and software integration, debug, and operation instruction
Your Expertise:
Past relative experience of selling into or working with Defense and Aerospace OEMs who supply Radars, Aircraft Electronic Systems, Electronic Warfare or Mechanized Land Armored Vehicles (desired)
Proven track record of sales/orders success in a competitive Mil/Commercial Aero or Mil Land environment
Familiarity with the usage of CRM systems
The ability to work with large datasets to garner intelligence and inform sales related and product development activities.
The proven ability to foster discipline and generate/create bidding opportunities with major OEM accounts. Past dealings (as a supplier) with Airbus, Thales, Leonardo, highly desired.
10-15 years in technical sales/ 5 years engineering management
