As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Chief Data & Analytics Office, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications. As a core technical contributor and leader, you are responsible for designing, enhancing, and delivering full-stack technology solutions across multiple components in an expansive data entitlements, data use, and data sharing and access platform with firmwide adoption.  This is a hands-on full-stack technical role with a focus on design (30%) and coding (70%).

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceHands-on practical experience delivering scalable, distributed systems, application development, testing, and operational stabilityProficiency in Java (core & EE, Spring Framework)Practical cloud native experience in AWSNotable experience with cloud-based data platforms and patterns for compute, storage, analytics, and data science use casesExcellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersAdvanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
