Job responsibilities

Lead and contribute to the development of server-side applications using Java and Spring.Design and develop scalable architectures, ensuring performance efficiency.Implement messaging frameworks.Develop and execute automated testing strategies, including end-to-end testing.Collaborate effectively within an agile team setting and communicate with key stakeholders.Provide DevOps production support to ensure application stability and address business queries.Mentor junior developers and drive design and code review sessions.Add to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceStrong hands-on experience with Java, Spring and messaging framework for server-side development.Proficiency with No Sql databasesExpertise in designing scalable architectures and developing performance-efficient applications.Experience with messaging frameworks, particularly Active MQ, Tibco and KAFKAProficiency in automated testing, including end-to-end processes.Ability to provide DevOps support and mentor junior team members.Capability to lead design and code review sessions.In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systemsPractical cloud native experience

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Proficiency in Cassandra is preferredExperience with AWS and cloud services.Good Understanding UI development using React JS/.Net and familiarity with container technologies.Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD.Knowledge of SRE concepts, such as monitoring and log tracing.
