Title and Summary
Lead Software Engineer - Automation Testing & Java CodingOverviewTRE program consists of globally scalable products focused on bettering the safety and intelligence of the Mastercard authorization network. To fully integrate security and intelligence into the transaction process, the team works to develop merchant and consumer services, improve transaction validation services, and integrate security services with digital payments products.
All About You:
•\t8-12 years of overall career experience into Software Engineering
•\tGood & Strong Java Hands-On Coding Experience
•\tWorking experience in Test Automation both coding/framework design – UI, API, including agile processes
•\tAbility to coordinate, interact with, and lead cross departmental teams.
•\tAbility to make decisions without all information.
•\tPreferably professional experience in financial services, cards, payments or another related field
•\tAnalyze code review reports and development quality to make sure best practices are being followed
•\tDevelops/monitors quality gating and automation strategy for a given project looking at code coverage and API vs UI level functionality
•\tPossesses a strong knowledge of programming, tools, architecture patterns, and BDD
•\tEnsures Performance and Scalability for applications and platforms
•\tExperience overseeing the coding, testing, and review process for unit and integration testing
•\tSuccessfully led multiple test paths simultaneously
•\tSuccessfully ensured quality of one or more application codebases and alignment with development standard
•\tExperience in building automation frameworks, acceptance and integration test automation scripts, integrating with other tools
Roles
•\tResearching and evaluating tools to support domain-specific needs
•\tDevelop technical work products and own solution design.
•\tWorks closely with software engineers to build quality by ensuring proper test and code coverage, configuration quality, monitoring, early performance testing
•\tDevelops and implements QA standards, processes, tools and methodologies; partners with other functions to establish testing requirements
•\tDocuments performance test strategies and test plans; translates complex system requirements and specs into test requirements and testing methods
•\tParticipates in requirements review and performance testing activities; monitors resolutions and retains documentation.
•\tIdentifies and implements complex automation efforts; replicates and resolves production issues for single application
•\tDefines and implements best practices for end-to-end application performance management solutions; focuses on emerging technologies
•\tAssists in vendor assessment and evaluates and recommends software development tools
•\tMay manage medium-sized project/initiatives as an individual contributor with advanced knowledge within discipline, leading a segment of several initiatives or a larger initiative and assigns day-to-day work.
•\tTranslates complex system requirements and specs into test requirements and testing methods
•\tActs as first-review for project-level reviews, walkthroughs and inspections
•\tDirects evaluation of manual testing tools for automation opportunities
•\tReview production monitoring tool and practices to ensure issues are addressed proactively.
•\tSetup and keep enhancing coding guidelines/practices. Ensure its adherence through regular reviews with team.
•\tTechnically coach team members to ensure optimal quality, performance and security parameters.
