HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
\nYour role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
\nWhat your day-to-day will be like:
\n\nImplement new requirements within our Agile delivery methodology while following our established architectural principles.\nWrite clean, concise code that is stable, extensible, and unit tested. Actively participate in code reviews.\nDebug and resolve production issues.\n\nHow you will collaborate with others:
\n\nGuide team to use preferred design patterns, mentor junior engineers, and analyze design tradeoffs with the team.\nCommunicate frequently and effectively with other engineers on the team, as well as the Delivery Manager, Product Owner, UX, QE, and developers from other platforms/channels to deliver quality working software.\nRefine requirements into small batches of work and coordinate work within the team.\n\nWhat deliverables you will take ownership of:
\n\nWork with the team on creating reusable components to decrease time to market and help implement architecture patterns.\nDevelop features that empower our customers, as they book and manage their stays while utilizing features like digital keys and digital room controls on our Mobile App.\n\nWHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
\nYou have these minimum qualifications:
\n\nFive (5) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field.\nFour (4) years of experience with full cycle software development. Experience should include all of the following - design, coding, testing, release, and maintenance.\nThree (3) years of experience with Android application engineering with Kotlin.\nTwo (2) years of Jetpack Compose.\nExperience/ working knowledge with architectural design patterns (UDF, MVVM, etc), coroutines and flows.\nProven track record of leading development efforts.\nExperience in an environment with daily commits, weekly store releases and real-time collaboration.\nFamiliarity with version control systems such as Git.\nThis is a hybrid role and will require visits to the Dallas office.\nTravel up to 10%.\n\nIt would be useful if you have:
\n\n\nBachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience.\nSeven (7) + years of professional work experience in Technology or related field.\nKnowledge of CI/CD tools (Gradle, GitLab.)\nKnowledge of Redux.\nExperience working closely with iOS developers and reviewing their code.\nExperience building apps in Travel/Leisure domains.\n\n\n\n\nWHAT IT IS LIKE WORKING FOR HILTON
