As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Alts Platform group, your role will be to spearhead a technical team dedicated to the creation and delivery of industry-leading technology products for a green field project. Leveraging your comprehensive understanding of software, applications, technical processes, and product management, you will manage multiple complex projects and initiatives. You will serve as the key decision maker for your team, fostering innovation and ensuring the successful delivery of solutions.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on Java programming concepts and 5+ years applied experienceExperience leading cross-functional teams of technologistsHands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityAdvanced knowledge of front-end languages and frameworks (e.g. typescript/react) Advanced knowledge of server-side languages and frameworks (e.g. Java/SpringBoot)Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languagesExperience in Microservices architectureProficient in Database technologiesProficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life CycleAdvanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityDemonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsPractical cloud native experience – AWS preferred
