Lead Sleep Lab Technologist
**Position:** Sleep Technologist Lead **Shift:** Nights 8:00pm till 6:30 am **Job Summary** The **Sleep Technologist Lead** serves as a clinical and operational resource within the Sleep Lab, ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services. This role supports the Sleep Lab team by coordinating daily activities, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and fostering a collaborative environment. The Sleep Technologist Lead acts as a liaison between staff, physicians, and leadership while continuing to provide patient care. **Essential Functions** + Coordinates daily operations of the Sleep Lab, ensuring effective workflow, appropriate staffing, and optimal use of resources. + Provides technical and clinical support to Sleep Lab staff, addressing complex cases and troubleshooting equipment or procedural issues. + Assists in the implementation and adherence to protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. + Monitors the quality of sleep studies and therapeutic interventions, providing guidance to ensure high standards of patient care. + Facilitates communication between staff, physicians, and leadership to address operational needs and resolve issues. + Oversees the maintenance and calibration of sleep lab equipment, ensuring functionality and compliance with safety standards. + Supports onboarding and training of new team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional development. + Participates in quality improvement initiatives, analyzing data and recommending changes to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes. + Provides direct patient care as needed, including conducting sleep studies and delivering therapeutic interventions. + Maintains accurate records of operational activities, staff performance, and patient data, ensuring adherence to confidentiality and compliance requirements. + Performs other duties as assigned. + Complies with all policies and standards. **Qualifications** + 3-5 years of experience in a sleep lab setting required + Prior experience in a leadership or team lead role preferred **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + In-depth knowledge of sleep disorders, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic interventions. + Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage workflows and support team members. + Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, patients, and physicians. + Proficiency in sleep lab technology and equipment, including troubleshooting and maintenance. + Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements. **Licenses and Certifications** + RPSGT - Registered Polysomnographer Technologist required + BCLS - Basic Life Support required INDRESPTHER Equal Employment Opportunity This organization does not discriminate in any way to deprive any person of employment opportunities or otherwise adversely affect the status of any employee because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, citizenship, veteran status, or military or uniformed services, in accordance with all applicable governmental laws and regulations.
