The position reports to the Shipping and Receiving Manager.Key AccountabilitiesCommunicate with LTL carrier dispatch on daily pickups as well as with corporate logistics team for FTL shipments.Support shippers and receivers with D365 training and processing knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot issues.Verify the accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments/containers and vet for any potential discrepancies.Communicate with various internal teams regarding international shipping documentation, approved and ready orders, inventory, issues/concerns, and more.Assist the department manager on executing delegated work of various projects within the department.Support team members as needed to ensure an overall successful and efficient department.Timely processing of orders inbound and outboundTimely and accurate transport of materials to appropriate destinationAccuracy of cycle count quantities and response to material shortagesAccuracy of material being stored in proper locations and maintain location updatingAccurate material receiving, picking, put-away and deliveryPunctualityAttendanceForklift safetyMaintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with Zurn Elkay policies, 5S procedures, and in line with Zurn Elkay core values.Resolves most questions and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels.Works under minimal supervisionAssist in orienting and training lower level employeesApplies some advanced skills to the position or specialization.
