The position reports to the Shipping and Receiving Manager.** **Key Accountabilities** + Communicate with LTL carrier dispatch on daily pickups as well as with corporate logistics team for FTL shipments. + Support shippers and receivers with D365 training and processing knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot issues. + Verify the accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments/containers and vet for any potential discrepancies. + Communicate with various internal teams regarding international shipping documentation, approved and ready orders, inventory, issues/concerns, and more. + Assist the department manager on executing delegated work of various projects within the department. + Support team members as needed to ensure an overall successful and efficient department. + Timely processing of orders inbound and outbound + Timely and accurate transport of materials to appropriate destination + Accuracy of cycle count quantities and response to material shortages + Accuracy of material being stored in proper locations and maintain location updating + Accurate material receiving, picking, put-away and delivery + Punctuality + Attendance + Forklift safety + Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with Zurn Elkay policies, 5S procedures, and in line with Zurn Elkay core values. + Resolves most questions and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels. + Works under minimal supervision + Assist in orienting and training lower level employees + Applies some advanced skills to the position or specialization. May adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment and techniques to meet the more complex requirements of the position. Duties and tasks are frequently non-routine. + May utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, overhead crane, or other handling equipment to move material or orders to and from and within the facility. + Maintains related records. + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications/Requirements** + More than 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving lead duties + Minimum of 2 years forklift experience + Minimum of 2 years’ experience with MRP or ERP software + Ability to prioritize, organize, problem solve, and meet deadlines and goals + Ability to read and understand documentation including receipts, production orders, STO(s), or deliveries and process effectively + Ability to read a tape measure + Ability to participating in Kaizen Events focused on process improvements using lean manufacturing techniques + Ability to work well under pressure, and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously + Effective communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills + Effectively escalate any personnel or equipment issues to get them resolved in a timely fashion + Ideally has experience with Microsoft Suites programs including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel **Total Rewards and Benefits** + _Competitive Salary - $28 - $29/hour_ + _Medical,_ Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, AD&D, and Life Insurance + _Matching_ 401(k) Contribution + _Health_ Savings Account + _Educational_ Reimbursement + _Matching_ Gift Program Salary Range: The compensation range(s) identified above are a good faith estimate of the salary expected to be paid as performed from these locations.
