Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
Work integrally with associated teams to create, manage, coordinate and deliver training (globally) to internal and external partners and customers. Orchestrate needs related to GE’s technical instruction and instructional design processes including content development, training, and registrar management. Provide expertise in analyzing technical learning needs for the GEHC services function to then design and deliver training solutions. Master key business drivers to accomplish learning delivery objectives. Orchestrate team integration to impact departmental operations. Provide planning and execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Propose unique and different solutions outside of set parameters through in-depth experience, technical skills experience, and internal resources. Ensure that all processes and services learning delivery adhere to strict internal, as well as industry, statements, requirements, and regulations. Provide informal guidance to new team members.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Instructional Design, Biomedical Engineering, Education, or related field. Six (6) years of experience in Ultrasound Modality Field Service, Technical Instructional Design, or a combination thereof. Academic background or work experience to include: Developing, delivering, and managing comprehensive training programs in the medical equipment industry; Collaborating with engineering teams to stay updated on new product releases and technical issues; Designing and developing engaging learning content using modern instructional design principles and technologies (such as: Creo, Canva, or Powtoon); Articulate 360, Vuforia, and Skytap; Creating interactive e-learning modules, virtual simulations, and multimedia resources; and Partnering with stakeholders (such as subject matter experts, product managers, and instructional designers) to ensure training content aligns with organizational goals and technical requirements.
