Schedule: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday with some Saturdays required during Peak Season
CAREER OPPORTUNITY
Provides technical assistance to customers in the installation and maintenance of Smurfit Westrock packaging machinery. This assistance includes machine audits, planned maintenance and other customer requested technical services. Provides independent support to the customer. Is capable of information gathering and is able to bring the knowledge from the field back to Smurfit Westrock Service Management, Engineering and Sales.

Provides on-site customer services including installations, preventative maintenance and audits in Canada. Installation and servicing of Smurfit Westrock Packaging MachinerySupport of equipment both mechanically and electricallySell services and parts based on auditsSchedules are often dictated by customer requirementsReport to regional service manager dailyConduct an exit interview with customer prior to leaving the jobComplete expense reports at the conclusion of each jobFollow Smurfit Westrock and customer work/safety rules while in customer’s facilityMaintain a good relationship with fellow employees and customersWhat You need to Succeed
Technical degree is a plus, but not required2 to 5 years of field service experience, or related work experienceGood personality for customer relationsGood written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivatedStrong mechanical abilitiesModerate PC skills required in Microsoft Office and search and navigation the internetWrites accurate and concise service and expense reportsReview and/or contribute to procedure and training documents90% travel with nonstandard workweeks hours including weekends, holidays and night shiftsPassport is requiredAbility to travel to within the Canada, the US is expectedAbility to keep current with technologiesWilling to follow strict safety guidelines.Familiarity with electrical and mechanical drawings/schematics is a plus, but not requiredPhysical Requirement
