CTG is seeking to fill a Lead SAP ABAP Developer opening for our client in Manhattan, KS. Location: Remote Duration: 2 months Travel: No travel required Duties: Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP ABAP-based solutions to meet business and technical requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze complex business problems and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and development standards. Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot performance issues, and recommend optimization strategies. Ensure quality documentation of development work and system design. Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality deliverables on time and within budget. Actively support testing, go-live, and post-go-live activities. Skills: Strong expertise in SAP ABAP development, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF). Experience with Object-Oriented ABAP and SAP enhancement frameworks. Proficiency in debugging, performance tuning, and data dictionary. Familiarity with SAP modules (such as FI, MM, SD, etc.) and integration points. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and lead technical discussions. Experience: Minimum 7 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience. Proven experience in leading development teams and delivering complex SAP projects. Strong background in SAP implementation lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
