About this Role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Risk Analytics Consultant to join the Enterprise Risk Aggregation team, supporting Horizontal Execution & Support.
In this role, you will:
Lead the resolution of highly complex challenges using strategic thinking, performance monitoring, and advanced analytical techniques.
Provide vision and subject matter expertise to guide the implementation of innovative, large-scale business solutions.
Collaborate with Technology and business stakeholders to gather requirements, perform analysis, and communicate solution options.
Drive end-to-end project delivery, including business case development, requirements gathering, planning, testing, implementation, and closure.
Own the full project lifecycle, establishing and refining program-level processes, procedures, and performance metrics.
Influence change management through policy and methodology development, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
Oversee project execution using Enterprise Change Management (ECM) standards.
Lead cross-functional, matrixed teams across Technology, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and other key partners.
Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels across the organization.
Required Qualifications (U.S.):
5+ years of experience in Risk Analytics, Business Analysis, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated success in partnering with technology teams to implement risk-driven solutions.
Deep expertise in data analysis and analytics, including statistical modeling, trend analysis, and performance measurement to support risk management and strategic decision-making.
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate project status and escalate issues effectively.
Strong hands-on experience with enterprise database technologies such as Teradata, SQL Server, including writing complex queries, optimizing data pipelines, and managing large datasets.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and presentation capabilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy in analytical work.
Ability to dissect complex technical problems, analyze data, and recommend actionable solutions.
Experience synthesizing inputs from diverse sources into cohesive business requirements and standards.
Familiarity with risk and control frameworks, particularly data control processes.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
