The Lead Resident Assistant is responsible for providing personal care and designated health-related services to enhance and/or maintain the residents' physical and emotional wellbeing. This schedule includes; 64 hours per two weeks ; full time Overnight shift ; shift differential available Responsibilities Assists residents with personal cares Assists with treatments per individualized care plan under the direction of the Registered Nurse. (Includes blood glucose monitoring) Administers medication or assists with this under the direction of the Registered Nurse (includes insulin injections) Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration under the direction of the Registered Nurse Performs specified home services Acts as main trainer for Resident Assistants Assist the Director of Health Services with Resident Assistant staffing assignments Helps with call-ins during the shift, adjusting schedule if necessary Takes after hours and/or weekend staffing phone, per facility need Assist the Director of Health Services with administrative duties as assigned Provider visit coordination (e.g. podiatry) Orders supplies Required Qualifications: One to Three Years experience Ability to use technology in the form of computers, hand held devices, cell phone, fax machines.
