Are you detail-oriented, quality-driven, and passionate about improving industrial repair processes? Join our team as a Lead Remanufacturing Specialist and take charge of ensuring excellence in component repairs across our locomotive service network. You’ll work closely with suppliers, engineers, and service centers to monitor quality, streamline operations, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Monitor external suppliers to ensure compliance with repair and quality standards

Analyze post-repair component failures to identify root causes and implement quality improvement plans

Train Wabtec personnel in repair processes at service workshops

Coordinate fleet program requests from engineers and managers, gather data, and conduct tests

Support PPAP processes, collaborate with engineering and sourcing teams

Conduct audits and follow up on corrective actions

Manage repair materials supply for wheel set repairs

Track inventory at supplier warehouses and conduct regular stock audits

Write off materials in accordance with WIP processes

Coordinate wheel set logistics between service centers and repair facilities

Plan and monitor transportation of wheel sets to and from repair locations

Order materials for component repair programs

Ensure timely shipment of repairs and coordinate funding across service centers

Requirements:

Proven experience in remanufacturing, repair operations, or industrial quality assurance with min 3 years

Strong understanding of repair processes, material logistics, and supplier management

Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions

Excellent communication and coordination skills across teams and locations

Experience with PPAP, audits, and inventory control

Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities

Willingness and readiness to travel regularly to service workshops and supplier sites

Legal authorization to work in Kazakhstan is required

Proficiency in English
