The Position

Manage release pipelines and deployment processes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of software updates and features. Partner seamlessly with cross-functional teams—Development, QA, and Operations to synchronize release activities with project milestones, ensuring smooth deployments and reduced risk. Champion system reliability and performance during critical release windows, with robust rollback strategies and contingency plans that safeguard up time. Drive DevOps excellence by embedding CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles into daily operations, accelerating delivery and enhancing scalability. Proactively monitor and resolve release-related challenges, conducting insightful post-release reviews to fuel continuous improvement. Excel in vendor management, fostering strong relationships and ensuring timely delivery of services and tools that align with business goals and technical standards.

 

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have: 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related field. Master’s Degree is good to have.  Leverage over a decade of tech expertise—including 6+ years mastering DevOps—to drive innovation, streamline operations, and deliver scalable solutions that make a real impact. Seasoned in DevOps best practices like CI/CD and IaC, with a proven track record in release management and governance—driving seamless change control and rigorous testing protocols. Experience with automated deployment pipelines. Well-versed in Azure DevOps, bringing hands-on experience that enhances pipeline efficiency, automates workflows, and supports end-to-end DevOps lifecycle management. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of data systems management, data quality assurance, and data governance.

 

About the department
You will be part of the Commercial DD&IT GBS team within Novo Nordisk’s global Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) unit, based in Bangalore, India. Our team consists of approximately 145 highly skilled professionals who work closely with Commercial stakeholders in a dynamic and matrixed organisation with a global footprint.
