Ecolab is providing an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Lead Quality Engineer! You will be responsible for analyzing system requirements and detailed design documents to ensure that they are clearly defined, complete and testable. With minimal supervision, you will be responsible for the creation and execution of Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Scripts to verify new and existing (regression) software functionality. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for tracking and reporting defects, reporting progress, assisting with risk assessments, and identifying opportunities for automation to improve speed and quality of software development. You will be a key member of the technical team, collaborating with internal & external developer partners to ensure an optimal solution for our customers!

Lead the testing efforts of one or more product features.Design and implement automated tests that will help in end-to-end quality of major deliverables.Contribute to defining the output metrics and bar for quality with input metric drivers including mechanisms for tracking.Develop strong partnerships with developers to drive focus on quality goals.Lead Quality outcomes by standardizing test planning, test case development, test code reviews, and associated mechanisms.Develop clear understanding of system specifications to write test modules to validate functionality.Understand the business requirements, application design and its components which will ensure the overall end-to-end testing.Adhere to established test methodologies for validation and verification of product releases. Work to expose anomalies and variations between product requirement specifications and implementation using sanity, stress, integration, end-to-end and regression test procedures.Produce well-structured, documented, and maintainable test scripts for manual and/ or automated testing that support the quality assurance test-cycle within the Agile framework.Design test plan and identification automation scope for functional and regression tests.Research, understand and produce test-case scenarios that validate major functional subsystems. Modifies test cases scenarios as needed for new and changed products.Create clearly documented defect reports for anomalies found during test procedures.Anticipate and remove obstacles with a sense of urgency that slow down or prevent project teams from delivering with quality.Contribute to a culture of strong engagement, accountability and high performance across functions and delivery teams.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field6 years of experience leading quality on software projects with a distinguished track record on technically demanding projects for large scale global digital solutionsExperience working with QA Best Practices in relation to how testing integrates within the Agile FrameworkImmigration sponsorship not available for this rolePreferred Qualifications:
Experience in building test automation and working with automated frameworks and toolsExperience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to streamline manual testing effortsExperience leading the QA test effort on high profile projectsExperience performing systems/functional testing on multiple applicationsExperience putting together a roadmap plan for QA functions and featuresExperience performing feature testing on multiple applications and platformsExperience testing backend, API and UI functionalityExperience with the software development lifecycle in an Agile setting; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile methodologiesAbility to work in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a high level of qualitySelf-starter with high initiative. Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The base salary range for this position is $104,700.00 - $157,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.Benefits
